Aminur Rahman, Jessore:
Bhatpara Bazar – Bhatpara Police Investigation Center Paka Road in Baghutia Union of Abhaynagar Upazila of Jessore turns into a canal when it rains. During prolonged rains, waterlogging causes permanent waterlogging. People on both sides of the road do not want water to pass through anyone’s land. As a result, waterlogging occurs. There is a U-drain with two mouths closed.
People cannot come to Bhatpara market. People have to walk 3/4 km to reach the market. Besides, there is a Bhatpara research center and archeology on this road. There are 11 Shiva temples in Abhaynagar of the division. In this situation, the police of the investigation center are obstructed to maintain law and order or conduct legal activities. Besides, the people who come to see the eleven Shiva temples are also facing various problems.
“If we don’t have a permanent drain here, there will be waterlogging every monsoon season,” he said. This is an important road. I will make an arrangement as soon as possible to see what can be done.
