A voluntary organization called ‘Hridaye Grambangla Foundation’ has distributed 3,000 masks among pedestrians, rickshaw pullers, van drivers and poor people in different parts of Panchagarh city to make the general public aware as the prevalence of corona virus has increased again in the country.
Saiful Islam Shant, general secretary of the organization, and Ahsan Habib, treasurer, distributed the masks at different spots in Panchagarh district on April 1 (Thursday) at noon.
Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Amirul Islam and Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Arif Hossain inaugurated the distribution of masks. At this time, they put masks on the faces of pedestrians without masks. And the volunteers created awareness about masks among rickshaw pullers, van drivers and poor people and also taught the rules of wearing masks properly.

‘Hridaye Grambangla Foundation’ has been carrying out public awareness activities in the country since the beginning of Corona virus in the country, starting from providing relief items to the poor uprooted people, including providing masks, hand sanitizers and prescriptions.
