Bangladesh national team ODI captain Tamim Iqbal is returning home after playing the third and final ODI of the series against hosts Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club ground.
The only Test of the series against hosts Zimbabwe did not play for a knee injury. However, after overcoming the injury, he returned to the Bangladesh national team in the first ODI of the three-match ODI series of the ICC Super League. But the Bangladesh team management is very worried about Tamim due to the upcoming T20 World Cup. That is why dashing opener and Bangladesh national team ODI captain Tamim Iqbal has to return home without playing a T20 series against hosts Zimbabwe.
According to the latest condition of Tamim Iqbal’s injury, it may take another 8-10 weeks for Tamim to recover from the injury. As a result, the upcoming T20 series against Australia and New Zealand is not being played at home.
