Robinson banned from international cricket

Akash Das, Sports Correspondent:

England’s Oli Robinson has been banned from all forms of international cricket.

He made his dream debut in the historic Lord’s Test against New Zealand. After taking four wickets in the first innings, he took three wickets in the second innings. However, the England Cricket Board (ECB) has banned Robinson from all forms of international cricket for making some racist and obscene tweets on his personal Twitter account while playing in the 2012-13 County League.

However, the ECB has banned Robinson from all forms of cricket for a period of time following a review and investigation into those tweets. As a result, he will not be able to play the second Test match of the series against New Zealand. However, he will be able to play regularly for his county team Sussex in the domestic league.
