Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has set a world record for the highest runs in a single year in international Twenty20 cricket.
Mohammad Rizwan’s 2021 Salta to cut like a dream. The bat is laughing and the run is cutting the throats of the opposing bowlers. The wicketkeeper set a new world record by scoring 46 runs in the second T20 match of the series against the host West Indies yesterday. He surpassed Ireland’s opener Paul Sterling to become the highest run-scorer in a calendar year.
7 months of 2021 ended yesterday. However, in these seven months, Rizwan scored 752 runs for the Pakistan national team, setting a record for the highest run in a year. Earlier in 2019, Paul Sterling of Ireland had set a record of taking the highest number of runs in a year by scoring 748 runs. On the other hand, another Irish cricketer Kevin and Browne scored 729 runs in 2019.
