One lakh 53 thousand 598 children will be given vitamin ‘A’ plus capsules in Panchagarh.
The information was given at a press conference in the conference room of the Civil Surgeon’s Office on June 2 (Wednesday) at noon. Fazlur Rahman.
From June 5 to 19, from 8 am to 4 pm, 16 thousand 316 children aged 6-11 months will be given one blue vitamin ‘Ath Plus capsule and one lakh 36 thousand 269 children aged 12-59 months will be given one thousand and six children in one thousand six centers in five upazilas of the district. One high-capacity red vitamin ‘Ath Plus capsule will be fed.
The Civil Surgeon said 2,154 people would volunteer at these centers to make the national Vitamin ‘Ath Plus’ campaign a success. Volunteers will work in these centers following the hygiene rules. All children between the ages of six months and five years must be brought to the nearest center in a timely manner to be fed Vitamin ‘Ath Plus Capsules on a full stomach. We seek the cooperation of all to make this campaign a success by adhering to the rules of hygiene aimed at eradicating malnutrition blindness, preventing malnutrition infant mortality and increasing the child’s immunity.
