Oil-carrying train derailed in a train accident at Nawapara in Abhaynagar

Two trains collided at Nawapara in Abhaynagar of Jessore. It is learned that two bogies of the oil train derailed. It is believed that the train derailed due to the negligence of the assistant station master. The train derailed at around 4 am on Saturday. A four-member investigation committee has been formed to investigate the accident. In this incident, the border train had to leave the station 25 minutes late. An empty Khulna-bound BTO train leaving Parbatipur collided with a freight train on the second line at Nawapara railway station at 4am on Saturday. Two bogies of the oil train were derailed. At that time the border train leaving Khulna was standing outside for 25 minutes. The rescue train from Khulna reached the spot at 8:15 am on hearing the news of the accident. An inquiry committee has been formed.

Station Master Bulbul Ahmed said that Assistant Station Master Marufuzzaman and Cabin Man Kamrul Islam were in charge at the time. An investigation committee has been set up.
