New corona detection rate increases in Jessore: 204 people in 24 hours: 5 deaths

In the last 24 hours, 204 more corona have been identified in Jessore. Besides, 5 people died. In addition to increasing the ongoing lockdown in two municipalities in Jessore due to high risk, the lockdown has been implemented in several places including one new municipality from Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, the locals have complained about the effective admission and lockdown of Corona patients.

However, the administration says they are in a tough position to prevent infection. Jessore Additional District Magistrate Kazi said. Sayemuzzaman said that in the last 24 hours, 414 samples were tested and 204 corona were identified. The detection rate is 50 percent. Yesterday the rate was 46 percent. 5 people died on Wednesday.

Among them, three died in the red zone of Sharsha, Abhaynagar and Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex and two died in the isolation ward of Jessore General Hospital. In the last one week, 20 people have died. At present 115 people are admitted in the hospital.

Meanwhile, due to high risk, the ongoing lockdown has been extended to two municipalities in Jessore, Jessore, new Jhikargachha municipality, Jessore Sadar Upazila sub-city, Nawapara, Arabpur and Chanchra Union, Sharsha Union Sharsha Union and Benapole Bazar from Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, the general public has complained about the complications in the admission of corona patients. They also called for tougher enforcement of the lockdown. However, the administration says they are in a tough position to prevent infection.
