Md. Kanon from Turkish Embassy mourns the death of CIP Musa Mia

Kishoreganj Kuliarchar Upazila Awami League Chief Adviser, Senior Citizen, Kuliarchar Group Chairman, Distinguished Danbir Alhaj Md. Musa Mia has expressed deep condolences from the Turkish Embassy on the death of CIP and conveyed his condolences to his bereaved family. Md. Kanan Khan is currently working at the Bangladesh Embassy in Turkey.

He said in a telephone interview with People’s News that Alhaj Md. Musa Mia has played a significant role in the economic development of the country through CIP industry and trade. The death of Musa Mia has caused great loss not only to his family but also to the people of Kuliarchar and the entire nation.

It may be mentioned that Alhaj Md. Musa Mia CIP breathed his last on Saturday (June 19) at 6:10 am while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the capital (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raziun). He had been suffering from terminal cancer for a long time.

He was 6 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His eldest son Imtiaz bin Musa Jisan is the president of Kuliarchar Upazila Awami League and former municipal mayor.

Danbir’s famous Alhaj Md. Musa Mia CIP was born on 5 March 1958 in an aristocratic Muslim family in Pailanpur village of Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj district. His father Alhaj Abul Kashem Kanchan Mia was a successful fish trader, industrialist and prominent social worker.

The body of Alhaj Md. Musa Mia CIP was brought to his birthplace Kuliarchar on Sunday (June 20) morning. He was later buried at the family graveyard after Janazah prayers at Kuliarchar Degree College ground.
