Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus had to leave the field after seeing a red card for fouling Chile’s Mena in the current Copa America quarter final. Due to which he could not play in the semi-final against Peru. But this time, the South American governing body for football (Conmbell) announced a new punishment. He has been banned for two matches due to a red card, which means he will have to sit on the bench in the final after the semi-final against Peru. The young star forward will also have to pay a fine of RS 5000.
Last Sunday’s champions Brazil will take on arch-rivals Argentina in the final of the ongoing Copa America on Sunday, July 11. The match will start at 6 am Bangladesh time.
