In the last 24 hours, 480 more corona have been identified in Jessore. At this time 8 people died of corona and symptoms.
The district administration is working to implement a lockdown to stop this increase in identification. At the same time, new wards have been opened and medical activities have been increased to cope with the patient’s stress, said the civil surgeon.
According to the health department, in the last 24 hours, 951 samples were tested and 480 corona were identified. The detection rate is 49 percent. 6 people died. Of these, 3 died of corona and 5 died of corona symptoms. At present 141 people are admitted in the hospital.
Jessore Civil Surgeon Sheikh Abu Shaheen said the rate of infection in Jessore has been on the rise since the beginning of June. At present, the infection rate is fluctuating between 40 and 50 percent. Initially, ward-based municipalities and later the entire district were brought under strict restrictions to curb the spread of the infection.
Medical wards are being opened along with opening new wards to cope with the patient’s stress. He advised to raise awareness of the people to prevent infection.
