Grameen Bangla Foundation distributed 1000 masks among van and rickshaw drivers

In Boda upazila of Panchagarh, the voluntary organization ‘Hridaye Grambangla Foundation’ has distributed 1000 masks among van, rickshaw pullers and poor people.

Vice Chairman of Boda Upazila Parishad Mokhlesur Rahman Zillur inaugurated the mask distribution ceremony at Boda bus stand on March 26 (Saturday) at 1 pm. Meanwhile, veteran journalist Md. Mazharul Islam, lecturer and journalist of Sakoya Degree College NA Rabiul Hasan Liton, district Chhatra League organizing secretary Mirajul Islam Mithu,

Ahsan Habib, Treasurer of Hridaye Grambangla Foundation, journalist Liajuddin Manik and other members of Hridaye Grambangla Foundation were present.

Speaking as the chief guest, the Vice Chairman said that in his heart he requested all the voluntary organizations of the country like Grambangla Foundation to come forward for the welfare of more and more marginalized people.

The volunteers of the organization created awareness about masks among rickshaw pullers, van drivers and poor people and also taught the rules of wearing masks properly.

From the beginning of the Corona virus in the country, the ‘Hridaye Grambangla Foundation’ has been carrying out public awareness activities among the poor uprooted people, starting from providing relief materials to providing masks, hand sanitizers and medicine.
