Another 11 people died in Khulna’s Corona. They died at three hospitals in 24 hours from 8am on Friday to 8am on Saturday (July 3).
Of these, six died at Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital, one at Corona Unit of General Hospital and four at Private Gazi Medical College Hospital.
Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital Focal Person Dr. Suhas Ranjan Haldar said six people have died at Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital in the last 24 hours.
The deceased have been identified as Mosharraf Hossain, 63, of Betagram, 18 miles from Dumuria, Anwara Khatun, 32, of Fulbarigate, Nazma, 44, of Sonadanga, Nur Islam, 66, of Rupsa, Subarna, 55, of Shyamnagar in Satkhira and Mohammad of Jessore Sadar. Shariful (42).
213 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Of these, 113 are in the red zone, 60 in the yellow zone, 20 in the ICU and 20 in the HDC. 35 people have been admitted in the last 24 hours. And 26 people have returned home healthy.
Dr Gazi Mizanur Rahman, proprietor of Gazi Medical Hospital, said four people died in the hospital’s corona unit in 24 hours.
The deceased have been identified as Mansura Begum, 53, of Darussalam Mosque area in Khulna, Vivek Kundu, 53, of Fultala, Abdul Mannan Sardar, 60, of Rahimnagar area of Rupsa and Awal Sikder, 70, of Chitalmari upazila in Bagerhat.
Another 109 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Of these, 9 are in ICU and 10 are in HDU. In the last 24 hours, 27 people have been admitted and 12 have returned home healthy. In 31 samples tested in PCR lab, 25 corona positive.
Dr Kazi Abu Rashed, spokesperson of the Corona Unit of Khulna General Hospital, said a woman named Aleya Begum (65) of Barandipara in Jessore had died in the last 24 hours. Besides, 70 people are undergoing treatment, out of which 33 are men and 37 are women. 12 people have been admitted in the last 24 hours. 7 people have returned home healthy.
