Kishoreganj’s Kuliyarchar Upazila’s expatriate organization “Kuliyarchar Prabasi Sampriti Forum” Salua Union branch organized Eid gifts to the more than two hundred disadvantaged families of the union. Eid gifts include sari and langi.
The sarees and lungi were distributed as Eid gifts among two hundred underprivileged people of the union on Monday (May 10) at 3 pm at the Dumrakanda Government Primary School ground adjacent to Dumrakanda Bazar in the upazila.
Kuliyarchar Municipal Mayor Syed Hasan Sarwar Mohsin was present as the chief guest at the Eid gift distribution function presided over by Md. Mojibur Rahman, Advisor of Kuliyarchar Prabasi Sampriti Forum.
Among the special guests were Md. Muslim Uddin, Municipal Panel Mayor Habibur Rahman Habib, Councilor Md. Selim Kari and Councilor Syed Kanan, Central Senior Vice-President of the organization Kazi Saiful Islam, Headmaster of Chaysuti Union High School Mostakur Rahman Badal, Social Worker Md. Fakhrul.
Apart from Hasan Badal, General Secretary of Salua Union Juba Dal Md. Sadequr Rahman Sadeq, Founder of Social Organization “Salua Union Blood Donors Club” and Social Worker Md. Abdullah Al-Qayyum among others, 12 volunteers of Sampriti Forum.
Md. Sadequr Rahman Sadek, General Secretary of Salua Union Juba Dal was present on the occasion.
Regarding the distribution of sarees and lungi as Eid gifts, Md. Azaharul Islam Raihan, Founder President of Kuliyarchar Prabasi Sampriti Forum, said, “We are trying our best to be by the side of poor, helpless and disadvantaged people in every union and every village of Kuliyarchar Upazila.” We want everyone’s cooperation. If everyone cooperates, our harmony forum will go further inshaAllah.
