Residents of 7 unions and Nawapara of Abhaynagar upazila of Jessore will be able to get free coronavirus vaccine by showing NID (National Identity Card) card from August 8.
On the occasion, an information meeting on ‘Covid-19 vaccination’ was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room in the afternoon organized by the Upazila Health Complex.

In order to implement the government directive, it has been decided to provide coronavirus vaccine through NID card or national identity card at the union level and among the citizens from August 7. In this regard, Rizvi said, the vaccine will be given with the national identity card for the corona vaccine.
Free unions and citizens will be able to get vaccinated on August 8 from 9 am to 3 pm. Vaccination will be given to Nawapara citizens at the Upazila Health Complex on all working days. Besides, on August 7, 8 and 11 in Prembagh, Sundali, Chalishia and Payra Unions.
