In Panchagarh, a group of youths have launched a fancy campaign to create public awareness against Corona and encourage everyone to wear masks. I am talking about the volunteers of Grambangla Foundation in my heart.
Some of the organization’s volunteers have a packet of masks in their hands, some have food in their hands, some have soap in their hands, and a young man is spreading awareness about the corona virus with a hand mic. Volunteers are handing out food and soap to the rickshaw and van drivers who are driving properly wearing masks. The purpose is to make the public aware of the same corona and mask.
Anwar Sadat Samrat, chairman of Panchagarh district council and general secretary of the district Awami League, inaugurated the fancy campaign and distribution of masks on April 8 (Wednesday). At this time the chief guest requested everyone to wear a mask and follow the health rules.
The Grameen Bangla Foundation distributed 5,000 masks among rickshaw pullers, van drivers and shopkeepers and pedestrians in different parts of Panchagarh city. The volunteers of the organization created awareness about masks among the pedestrians of rickshaw and van drivers and also taught them the rules of wearing masks properly. During this time, the volunteers handed over food, masks and soap to the poor and needy people in the city, starting from rickshaws and van drivers.
