A farmer in Kuliarchar committed suicide due to poisoning.

It has been alleged that a farmer committed suicide by poisoning in Kuliarchar of Kishoreganj. The incident took place on Tuesday (July 12) night.

It is learned that Shafir Uddin (45), son of late Kitar Ali of Laxmipur Kachari Para area of ​​Gobaria-Abdullapur Union of the upazila was on his way to his residence around 7 pm on Monday 11 July when he saw his younger brother’s wife and started shouting. After rescuing him, he realized that the smell of poison was coming out of his mouth.

In this condition, the family members first fed him sour food and then took him to Bhagalpur Zahurul Islam Medical College Hospital at midnight. The doctor on duty washed him and took out the poison. After a while, when he recovered, he reached Laxmipur Bazar of the upazila on his way home by autorickshaw and died at around 1 am.

Family members claim Shafir Uddin was involved in agriculture and was mentally ill. The idea of ​​the relatives, probably not being able to bear the mental pain, came home in an unknown place by poisoning everyone.

An unnatural death case has been filed at Kuliarchar police station on behalf of the family after the incident.

In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kuliarchar Police Station AKM Sultan Mahmud said that an unnatural death case has been registered in this incident. The body was recovered and sent to Kishoreganj morgue for autopsy.
