Security guard arrested over colleague’s shooting
CRIME | Police have arrested a security guard and booked him for attempted murder after he reportedly shot and injured his colleague in Ndeeba.
Bosco Eyoko, attached to KPI Security Services Limited, shot Judith Ayugi as she guarded at Baki Auto Dealers on Friday, Police said, adding that Eyoko abandoned his SAR rifle, fled the scene and went into hiding.
The victim whose femur bone got shattered, was taken to Mulago Hospital and was out of danger after undergoing surgery, the hospital said.
Eyoko later claimed that his riffle was faulty. He is currently detained at Mukono Police Station on charges of attempted murder.
